Free Online Tutoring COVID-19
We are a group of senior students that are part of the AVID program at Legend High School. AVID stands for Advancement Via Determination. As seniors, we are are given The Big Idea Project. This is a Project in which we make a unique impact in the community as a group. In order to do so, we all must come together using our own strengths to create this great tutoring opportunity.

My name is Meygan, I'm 18 years old and I am very passionate about helping the special needs community. Since I was in fourth grade I have been working with this community and it has brought so much joy into my life. The pandemic we have is causing many issues which I would really love to help with. I would like younger students to get help from us older students who are going through the same thing but have some online experience with schooling.

My name is Teagan, I'm 18 years old and I love reading. I am a future linguistics major and Foreign Lang teacher! I am semi-proficient in two languages; French and Japanese, and I hope to master these languages and learn many more in the future! I'm involved in the Big Idea Project because I value education and the importance of it, With the current string of Coronavirus threatening our way of life, it is easy for us to lose the great things that education provides.

My name is Jordan, I am 18 years old and I am a senior at Legend HS.
My passions include: painting, working in the community and writing. Ever since I was young It was my dream to help others and focus more on my creative side. Since I was 6, I've worked on art and participated in local activities. Thanks to these passions I find myself with great friends and I'm very happy. Unfortunately, due to Covid -19 I am unable to work those in need or hang out with my senior friends who are gonna be moving away here in a month or two. I have been able to work on my art pieces which have been great. I believe that working with younger students that I'll be able to pass on wisdom or something to make their lives more full and happy.

My name is Jodi, I'm 18 years old and a senior at Legend High School. With the Corona Virus going on it's very unfortunate that we can't be in school. I am doing this because I know it can be hard for students to engage in school. I want to make school more fun for kids. In all four years of my high school career, I have worked with younger students and Special Needs students and I just love it. I would love to continue to work with students as this virus is going on.
